Green Patch Refurbishment

Scope :

The project involved refurbishment of three amenities blocks (Upper D, Section Y, Day Visitor Block) at Green Patch Beach, Booderee National Park with the objective to upgrade the old amenities to match the standard, quality and aesthetics of the already upgraded Lower D amenities block.

Key Challenges:

• Validating design reviews with compliance (e.g. slip ratings, accessibility). The architect prepared design documentation to comply with relevant standards and legislation.
• Coordinating stakeholders and liaising with Park Management and cultural representatives.
• Staggering staged construction across the three blocks (Upper D, Section Y, Day Visitor Block) to ensure public access was maintained; one block would remain operational while another was being refurbished.
