Full refurbishment of an occupied Police station in multiple stages, including demolition and strip-out, new walls, ceiling and floor finishes, building services and furniture, fittings and equipment (FF&E). External works including hard and soft landscaping and roof repairs.
Key Considerations:
Requirement to stage and plan works across multiple work zones.
Program Constraints for the Custody Area where delivery must be carried out within 12 weeks of contract execution.
Works to be completed on a live Police site.
Successful relocation of various Police Units to temporary work space in the First Floor Training room during works in their respective areas.
Achieving compliance with relevant Police Department standards.
Potential to encounter hazardous materials, such as asbestos, lead base paint, etc.
Ability to deliver the project efficiently in the current COVID-19 pandemic environment.
